3/30/09 YW recognition night

Wednesday at 7pm is our Young Women Recognition night! L has finished her Purse-onal Progress goals and projects! Come help us congratulate her!
The theme is purses. We have a nice program in the chapel, and cheesecake for dessert. DON'T FORGET it is sunday dress. Please come......I "Purse-onally" think it will be very enjoyable!

Spa Night 3/26/2009

Sister Hansen is AWESOME! This night was so much fun! We had relaxation time with neck wraps, eye pads and lip healing balm, then we learned to care for our skin, did a hand treatment, and learned good tips on makeup application. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and we all learned alot!

Saturday we met at the church at 9:30 AM and rode together to the Stake Center for EFY. We heard 2 keynote speakers.
The first was Patti Epperson a mother of five who lost her husband to cancer. She spoke on how the scriptures are a great comfort and guidance to her.
(Anna took good notes so we will add some of her scriptures later.)
The second speaker was Eric Richards who spoke on the second coming and the Book of Revelations. He also had tips on overcoming the world as we look forward to the second coming.
We hope this ehanced your spiritual growth, strengthened your testimony, answered some questions and increased your desire to serve others.

Feb 18th 2009

This Wednesday the Miamaids did aerobics together and then had healthy snacks. The heat was turned up super high in the church so we worked out a sweat and then ran around the building afterwards to cool off. Then we had healthy snacks!

You missed out Laurels we were sore for a few days mostly in our calves!


The Beehives had a getting to know you activity, read a story and had popcorn!
